Very efficient use of space at under 400pgs. Did the exercises I was interested in. Many typos, most harmless.

The book culminates with a bunch of desirable stability results where under some regularity conditions, as sample size grows the usual designs for tests and estimators become essentially equivalent in performance.

The last few chapters have an odd focus on estimating equations, which I assume was influenced by the authors’ interests.
